Cleanup in a Moldy Basement in Springfield, IL

A local resident called for assistance after realizing the large amount of mold that had been growing on their property that had sat unattended for a months. Within a short time, SERVPRO® of Springfield arrived on site to asses the damage. After looking around and eliminating the main cause of the moisture, a plan was set in place to restore the home to pre-mold condition. The crews set to work with full gear and the soda blasting equipment. The soda blaster uses baking soda and high pressure air to remove the mold from the wooden surfaces. Within a matter of days the mold was removed and the homeowner was very happy!
