Flood Cut
Two of our trained water damage technicians are performing a flood cut at a local residence after a water damage occurred in the basement. The flood cut is made 12- 18 inches up from where the flood damage stopped. The cut is made in order to remove damaged dry wall and insulation and to prevent any additional moisture issues that may be occurring behind the wall.
By carefully planning how much drywall and insulation to remove, the technicians are able to not only prevent further damage but the process will also make re-installation go a lot smoother.
If you experience a water damage, hiring a local professional like SERVPRO® of Springfield will help to ensure the clean up goes as smoothly and as quickly as possible. Call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 217-528-7775.
